Abstract Submission 

AADANT is excited to announce a call for abstract submissions for oral presentations and workshops for the AADANT Conference 2025. 

This is a valuable opportunity to showcase your innovative practices or research. 

We encourage workers and services from all sectors to submit an abstract. We especially encourage interactive and practice-focused sessions to maximise opportunities for conference participants to share experiences and insights.

Next year's theme is "Voices of Change," and we seek innovative and impactful contributions addressing the topics listed below.

Topics of Interest: 

The AADANT Conference 2025 will cover a variety of topics, including:

• Harm Reduction

• Advocacy and Action

• Evidence-Based Policy

• Lived/Living Experience 

• Criminalisation of Drug Use and Reform

• Treatment or program innovation

• Strengthening Partnerships for a Systemic Response

• Connection and Collaborative Practice

• Reducing Stigma

Key Dates:

• Abstracts open on Monday 12 November 2024

• Submission due Monday 27 January 2025 at 5pm 

• Acceptance notifications will go out in Monday 24 February 2025

Note that abstracts from individuals affiliated with tobacco, alcohol, or gambling entities, or their affiliates, will not be accepted; all submissions must represent original work. By submitting an abstract, you consent to its publication in the conference handbook and on the conference website.
