Sal's Presentation - Recovery Outloud
51yo woman in recovery, building an awesome new life. I started using drugs at 9yo, by 15yo was using daily. It was as if every decade I was enslaved by another addiction until I had had enough at 47yo and I put myself into rehab for the first time. I like to use my Lived experience to show others, if you are seeking change, that it’s never too late. I am proudly a peer worker. I like to encourage people to reach out and get supports if they are experiencing issues with addiction because they are not alone. Believe in your worth and fight for your life.
