About Us
The Central Australian Aboriginal Alcohol Programme Unit (CAAAPU) operates a 30-bed residential alcohol and other drug rehabilitation facility in Alice Springs. We are dedicated to offering culturally sensitive and comprehensive support to Aboriginal people. CAAAPU provides a pathway to recovery and independence through tailored rehabilitation programmes.
As a local Indigenous organisation we are a centre for empowerment and a place of health and healing. CAAAPU is situated 7 minutes from town on a large beautifully landscaped property. We boast a welcoming and professional staff.
About the Opportunity
CAAAPU invites applications for full-time Case Workers to join our team in Alice Springs to support the male treatment program.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing case management support and monitoring client progress.
Coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.
Assessing client needs and advocating for appropriate services.
Conducting initial assessments and maintaining thorough records.

About You
The ideal candidate will possess at least 2 years of experience in case management preferably in the AOD sector. Holding a Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) or a Certificate III in Community Services will be considered an advantage. A current First Aid Certificate, Working with Children Check and a Police Clearance are a requirement for the role. This role requires comprehensive support to our Aboriginal clients within our 30-bed residential unit.
