What’s Ok At Home D&FV Website Launched for 10-13 Year Olds

What’s OK At Home (WOAH) has launched a new part of their website dedicated to 10-13 year olds experiencing family violence. The Gold Site from Domestic Violence Resource Centre lists where to seek help, what to do, how to recognise family violence, staying safe, and how to find someone you trust to talk to.

The website is a “one-of-a-kind online platform with exercises, stories and information that supports children and young people aged 10–17 to recognise family violence and provides practical guidance to support their safety, health and emotional wellbeing.”

The Blue Site is for 14-17 year olds, while the indigo site is for adults.

These web based tools direct children to services such as Headspace and Kids Helpline, while asking children to never step in to a fight, opting to call the police instead.

All age-range websites can be accessed here.
